- Develop and lead a cohesive internal communications strategy that informs, engages, and aligns employees with company priorities and culture.
- Serve as a strategic advisor, crafting and refining key internal messaging.
- Lead content development for internal channels, including executive updates, newsletters, intranet articles, videos, and employee engagement campaigns.
- Manage internal communications platforms and channels, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and effective.
- Guide communications during organizational change and crisis situations to ensure clarity, alignment, and transparency.
- Measure the impact of internal communications and adjust strategy.
- Assist in managing relationships with key industry media outlets, reporters, and trade publications to elevate the company’s visibility and thought leadership in the insurance space.
- Develop and execute strategic media plans that support business goals and promote the brand’s presence in earned and paid channels.
- Oversee the planning, placement, and performance of advertising campaigns in targeted insurance media (digital, print, sponsored content, etc.).
- Monitor industry media for coverage opportunities and stay ahead of trends relevant to the business.

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- 10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications with expertise in both internal communications and media relations is required.

- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a strong grasp of brand voice and tone.
- Experience leading internal communication strategies in large, complex organizations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders with confidence and efficiency.
- Proficiency with internal communication platforms and tools, as well as media monitoring and PR platforms.
