Team Intro
The US TikTok User Business Operations organization is looking for a highly motivated, collaborative and detail-oriented team member to support and manage business-critical projects across our organization. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent project management skills who is ready to learn and capable of coordinating multiple stakeholders and different functions across cultures and time zones. The ideal candidate is a humble, curious, and skilled listener, communicator and relationship-builder.
In this role, you will support and eventually lead complex projects in service of our key objectives. This will require working through complicated issues, facilitating discussions and distilling the outcomes into simple, actionable plans and processes. You are comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and can work with minimal guidance, take action on urgent priorities, and act with a high level of discretion when handling confidential information. You are capable of quickly shifting and changing course based on new information or high-priority requests.
In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager / department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time. This role is open to our Mountain View office as well.
Responsibilities :
- Support and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously working closely with the other Project Management Office's and our leadership, ensuring alignment across teams on goals, plans, and deliverables.
- Help guide on project scope, definition, and performance criteria to ensure alignment with business strategy.
- Executes, manages, and supports the process to translate program goals into tactical operations and key performance indicators (KPIs). Measure and report KPIs on a periodic basis.
- Develop coordinated program roadmap and deliverables based on organizational priorities.
- Develop and own accurate project timelines, master project calendar, work-back schedules, meetings notes, tracking documents, and other documentation as needed; foresee and triage blockers and issues before they arise.
- Track operation performance metrics across our department, support and represent the department in cross-functional engagement by creating reports, communications decks.
- Taking ownership of the calendar, coordinating meetings and travel arrangement.
- Proactively identify issues, areas of enhancements which provide value added insights and implement strategic initiatives.
- Exercise strategic thinking in prioritizing workload, as well as proper escalation to leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with teams across the company.
- Serve as primary point of contact for select external stakeholders.
