The Governance and Experience team of e-commerce is responsible for ensuring the safety and trustworthy of the marketplace for not only our users, but also sellers and creators. We are looking for an algorithm technical manager who is obsessed with customer experience and passionate about building systems to detect various risks that can sabotage platform trust.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $273600 - $532600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the team to design, build, optimize e-commerce governance algorithm pipeline using NLP/CV/ML to detect and control risks in contents/creators/products/sellers in global markets
- Build, expand and manage the global e-commerce governance algorithm team from scratch
- Collaborate with strategy team, product managers, policy team and ops team to define products and drive initiatives from engineering viewpoints
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 7 working experience in one of the following fields: machine learning , NLP and computer vision
- Experience with software development in one or more programming languages
- Experience in leading an engineering team
- Experience in anti-fraud/anti-spam/platform-integrity or related fields is a big plus
- Strong sense of responsibility and good at communication and teamwork
- Passionate about solving complex and challenging problems
