About the Team
Our mission is to empower content understanding in Lemon8. CV/NLP/LLM/Multimodality are important dimensions in Lemon8 content understanding. We are working on cutting-edge content understanding topics including weakly-supervised learning, few-shot classification, multi-task learning, multi-lingual learning, multi-modality pretraining, etc. As a content understanding team on the business side, we try to succeed in achieving business metric gains (recommendation metrics and other downstream metrics).
Responsibilities
- Content Safety. Improve safety models to coordinate related strategies and operations.
- Content Features. Improve features and embeddings in multiple scenarios to support better recommendation experiences.
- Comment Sort. Improve the sorting strategies for Lemon8 comments and provide better user experience.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Excellent coding skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency with big data technologies such as Hive, Hadoop, and Spark.
- Hands-on experience in building data processing pipelines and large-scale machine learning systems.
- Solid knowledge and experience with at least one major deep learning framework (e.g. PyTorch, Tensorflow, MXNet, Caffe/Caffe2).
- Familiar with deep neural network architectures such as transformer/SSM/CNN/RNN/LSTM etc.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualification:
-Experience in one or more areas of computer vision, natural language processing and machine learning,
- publications in top-tier venues such as SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $145000 - $250000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
