About the Team :
The Global Privacy & Regulatory Affairs legal team manages and oversees privacy and regulatory matters and initiatives pertaining to TikTok's global operations. The team works cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders in the US and around the world. You will work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment where your analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills will play an impactful role in tackling some of the most complex, interesting, and cutting-edge issues at the intersection of privacy and technology. We are seeking highly motivated professionals to join our team.
Responsibilities :
- Manage TikTok's Privacy Program, including oversight of governance and compliance policies and related SOPs
- Manage global privacy governance and compliance projects, such as individual rights management, new privacy law compliance, working collaboratively with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute effective project plans
- Identify relevant privacy issues and concepts to establish an appropriate approach and framework for each project
- Develop and operate tools to manage and track projects, identify blockers, and coordinate solutions cross-functionally
- Organize and conduct meetings, create and present progress, action items and reports
- Facilitate legal review of external data sharing arrangements
