About the team
All settlement related work for TikTok's global e-commerce logistics is gathered here. We ensure timely, accurate, and secure accounts receivable and payable, and continue to support the rapid development of e-commerce business.
We are looking for passionate and talented people with team management experience to join our global logistics settlement team, who aims to continuously improve the efficiency, safety, accuracy, timeliness of accounts receivable and payable processes, as well as the settlement experience of our partners.
Responsibilities
We are looking for passionate and talented people to join our logistics team, who aims to provide better products and experience, better delivery costs, strengthen industrial supply chain capabilities, and enhance platform reputation and long-term value.
1. Build the local settlement solution and operation teams. Responsible for the hiring, training, compliance guidance, and daily operations of local settlement teams.
2. Localize settlement regulations and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
3. Develop settlement automation plans, collaborate with product and R&D teams to develop software solutions, and conduct online tests for new system functions. Provide detailed reports to the R&D team.
4. Work with project management teams to ensure that settlement solutions are delivered at the early stages of logistics projects.
5. Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors or receipt of payments from merchants/customers, including contract review, system maintenance, billing, payment, and AR collections. Ensure compliance and accuracy throughout the process.
6. Develop and implement risk management systems to identify and eliminate settlement risks in cooperation with cross-functional teams.
7. Improve the handling of sellers' settlement-related consultations to enhance their experience.
8. Manage other daily operational tasks of the settlement team.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or above in finance or accounting.
2. More than 5 years of experience in settlement-related work in medium or large logistics enterprises.
3. More than 3 years of management experience in leading a team of 10 or more people.
4. Excellent communication skills, cross-team collaboration, and system project management skills.
5. Bilingual and fluency in English and Chinese as to work with vendors in China.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Strong attention to detail and proactive in identifying and solving issues.
2. Can think outside the box and can take initiative in innovation to solve complex problems.
3. Independent and entrepreneurial outlook. Proven ability to work with minimal direction.
4. Cross-region and cross-culture work experience.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $141360 - $332000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
