Responsibilities
Communication
Weekly, daily, and/or monthly reporting:
a. To executives and preconstruction manager
Meeting / collaboration with:
a. Staff, clients, and trade contractors
Budgeting
Develop and/or perform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing
Develop and/or assist with value engineering considerations
Develop and/or assist with trade/bid category cost
Evaluate owner budgets
Team organization/leadership for large estimates
Review bid documents for how they affect pricing and risk
Prepare total project cost estimates
Coordinate design intent with Architect Review all estimates to ensure company consistency/standards
Constructability review
Site visits
Bidding
Bid process assistance
Bid checklist management
Identify scope/trades necessary for the project
Understand upfront documents/Division 0 and 1 & implement
Develop bidders list
Coordinate reprographics and plan distribution

Physical Demands
This office position requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary. Involves walking, effective communication, listening, using hands to operate office equipment. Vision abilities required for computer work, reading, writing, typing, data entry and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may be required to push, pull, lift and /or carry up to twenty pounds; attempt no greater weight without assistance. The noise level in the work environment is an active open office.
Location
This is an in-office position, located in Riverside, California. Candidates will need to relocate to the area if required prior to employment to be considered.
