Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker

The candidate will go through a 90-day introductory period, where they will train and work with our Warehouse team. Once the 90 days are up, Tile Liquidators management will assess their progress and job stature.

Job Overview

This job is a full time position, shifts are at 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm with Saturdays being required and closed on Sundays. There will be opportunity for rotating off on Saturdays. The job requires that you have drivers license, you are able lift 70lbs, along with forklift experience. The employee will help load and unload products as they are shipped in, load customer along with verifying the work order for accuracy.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Completes all receiving/shipping activities of warehouse operations.
• Confirms off- loading of shipments are verified as to items, quantity and condition of goods.
• Retrieves work orders to utilize in passing possession of the product to customer.
• Distributes materials to departments, using devices such as forklift and hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Takes general direction from warehouse manager. In some cases, drive the company trucks to deliver merchandise directly.
• Follows all warehouse safety and security programs and activities.
• Responds to customers/shippers questions regarding storage and distribution services as directed.
• Completes daily checks/services of maintenance-related equipment, to include forklifts, hand trucks and other devices.
• Is directly involved in the requisitions and storing of adequate quantities of shipping materials and supplies to maintain proper inventory of stock.
• Utilizes his/her time in store arrangement of products and new items to be sold.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Must have drivers license.

Specific skills include:

• How to operate forklift
• Unload and load the product
• Follow directions
• Able to work Saturdays (required)
• Capable of lifting 70lbs
