Order Puller/Forklift Operator

Tile Outlets of America, a retail operator of tile and stone warehouse superstores, is seeking exceptional individuals as full-time and part-time warehouse associates for its Sarasota location. Our store has 30,000 square feet of retail sales space stocked with first quality porcelain and ceramic tile, glass tile and LVT flooring along with a full complement of medallions, mosaics, liners and other decorative items. The store also carries all materials and tools needed to complete an installation. In addition we sell special order vanities. TOA prides itself on combining a broad selection of flooring and home renovation products under one roof with everyday low prices and exceptional customer service.

This position is responsible for stocking and maintaining merchandise on the sales floor, pulling customer orders from inventory, loading customer orders into their vehicles, and other tasks and responsibilities as assigned from time to time. This position involves significant customer interaction so you must have good people skills and dress presentable. This position reports to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers.

Bonus Pay: Quarterly and Yearly sale bonus

Qualifications include:

• A command of basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
• The physical ability to lift 50 pounds and more repetitively
• The ability to work independently and manage your time
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A passion for treating the customer right
• Good organization and follow-up skills and attention to detail
• A team player
• Ability to speak Spanish and the ability to drive a forklift a plus
