Position Overview
A Junior Project Manager is an entry-level position within a project management team. The Junior PM will assist the Project Director with overseeing the initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing of an entire project. Additionally, you will assist with scoping, cost, risk management, and providing stakeholder feedback with clients about the status of their projects.

Assisting in Project Planning:
A Junior Project Manager is an entry-level position within a project management team. The Junior PM will assist the Project Director with overseeing the initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing of an entire project. Additionally, you will assist with scoping, cost, risk management, and providing stakeholder feedback with clients about the status of their projects.
Supervisory responsibilities
- This position will not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Assisting in Project Planning:
- Collaborate with senior project managers to develop project plans, including defining project goals, objectives, tasks, and timelines. Help create project schedules and resource allocation plans.
- Assist in coordinating project activities, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to keep the project on track.
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records. Assist in preparing regular project status updates and reports for stakeholders.
- Assist in communicating with project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and vendors. Coordinate meetings, distribute relevant information, and provide updates on project status.
- Help identify and assess project risks and issues. Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Monitor and report on risk mitigation efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the project team. Assist in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting outcomes. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and project management methodologies. Seek opportunities to enhance project management skills and contribute to professional growth.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

- A degree in project management, business management or a related field.
- Supply Chain Project or Supply Chain Technology Project experience, preferred.
- 1 Years of experience with project management.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as business administration, project management, or engineering).
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (such as Agile or Waterfall) is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices, PMP a plus.
- Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
