TileBar is looking for an inspiring and results-driven Showroom Manager to lead a high-performing team and create an exceptional customer experience. We are seeking a passionate leader with a strong sales mindset, a love for design, and the ability to foster meaningful client relationships.
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of showroom operations, including customer engagement, sales performance, team development, and operational excellence. You will cultivate strong relationships within the local market, working closely with TileBar’s Commercial Team to provide premium service to the architectural and design community.
By fostering a collaborative and customer-focused environment, you will enhance showroom efficiency, develop top talent, and reinforce TileBar’s reputation for an outstanding shopping experience, superior product quality, and innovation. Success in this role will be measured by YoY sales growth, market growth, NPS scores, and LVT, key account retention and growth.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000 per year. Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
Responsibilities
To thrive in this role, you will be expected to successfully perform the following duties:
Customer Experience & Sales Leadership
Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, fostering strong client relationships, and driving sales performance.
Set and uphold showroom standards that align with the TileBar brand, ensuring a premium customer experience.
Train and mentor associates on showroom sales processes to ensure consistently high-quality interactions at every stage.
Proactively resolve customer concerns, providing timely and effective solutions to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
Engage with the architectural and design community through trade events, networking, and in-showroom experiences to strengthen industry relationships and drive business growth for the entire Bergan County, NJ market.
Talent Development & Team Management
Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent, building a strong industry talent pipeline.
Oversee onboarding and training, ensuring an interactive and engaging learning experience through discussions, role-playing exercises, and hands-on coaching.
Partner with sales leadership and training teams to assess and address ongoing development needs for individuals and the team.
Sales & Performance Management
Oversee showroom P&L with a focus on driving sales, maximizing margin, controlling costs, and identifying operational efficiencies.
Lead, coach, and inspire the team to enhance client engagement and achieve sales objectives.
Monitor individual and team performance, providing strategic guidance and implementing improvement plans to ensure consistent success.
Showroom Operations & Brand Representation
Ensure proper staffing, training, and scheduling to meet business demands while maintaining a high-performing team.
Oversee daily showroom operations, ensuring efficiency in order processing, reporting, and administrative functions.
Foster strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization, working with marketing, merchandising, operations, and supply chain to enhance the client experience.
Represent the TileBar brand with professionalism and enthusiasm, embodying its values and commitment to excellence in all interactions.
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
Experience & Education
5 years of sales and leadership experience in a retail, showroom, or luxury sales environment, preferably in the architectural, design, or home furnishings industries.
Proven track record of driving sales performance, exceeding targets, and managing a high-performing team.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field preferred, but not required.
Product Knowledge & Industry Expertise
Ability to educate customers and team members on product features, benefits, and technical specifications to ensure informed purchasing decisions.
Preference given to candidates with In-depth knowledge of tile, stone, and flooring materials, including applications, trends, and installation best practices.
Sales & Customer Engagement
Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, including architects, designers, builders, and homeowners.
Expertise in consultative sales techniques, guiding customers through product selection and project planning.
Experience hosting in-showroom events, networking, and industry trade participation to drive brand awareness and market growth.
Leadership & Team Development
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a results-driven team.
Strong ability to recruit, train, and retain top sales talent, creating a high-performance culture.
Experience implementing training programs, performance management strategies, and coaching techniques to optimize sales effectiveness.
Operational Excellence & Brand Representation
Ability to manage daily showroom operations, staffing, scheduling, and reporting to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure showroom efficiency.
A polished, professional presence with a passion for design, luxury, and exceptional service.
Technical & Systems Proficiency
Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to quickly learn and utilize internal inventory and order management systems.
Additional Requirements
Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, evenings, and special events as needed.
Ability to travel occasionally for market events, training, or showroom openings.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. for sample movement and showroom maintenance.
