Planning And Scheduling
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, sales forecasts, and inventory levels. Coordinate with various departments, including procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure smooth execution of production plans.
- Analyze historical data, market trends, and customer requirements to accurately forecast demand for products. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather relevant information and incorporate it into production plans.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory. Implement inventory control measures, such as safety stock levels, reorder points, and replenishment strategies.
- Assess the production capacity of the warehouse and align it with production requirements. Identify bottlenecks or capacity constraints and propose solutions to optimize resource allocation and enhance production efficiency.
- Coordinate with production teams, machine operators, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure adequate resources (equipment, materials, and labor) are available for production activities. Communicate production plans, priorities, and changes effectively to all involved parties.
- Continuously monitor and analyze production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices. Streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity through process optimization initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, such as throughput, yield, and cycle times. Regularly review performance data and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed production targets.
- Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure that products meet the required quality standards. Monitor and address any quality issues or deviations from specifications that may arise during the production process.
- Maintain accurate production records, including production plans, schedules, and performance reports. Generate regular reports on production activities, performance metrics, and inventory levels for management review.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all production activities. Promote a safe working environment and proactively identify and mitigate potential safety risks.

- Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings and late nights as required.
- Partner and establish strong working relationships with other departments that provide support to the overall operation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- At least 1 year of experience in production planning, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (such as Agile or Waterfall) is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times; seldom required to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.
