Job Description:
This position also includes the responsibilities of providing direct support and assisting with the hiring and ongoing supervision of other direct support staff/ consultants for specific contracted support services for the department. The Manager’s responsibilities consist primarily of providing 1:1 support in a variety of individualized living settings to adults with a variety of DD and ASD needs. Assist adults with ADL's. medical management, budgeting, time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of DDS ISP and documentation requirements is required. Assist adults with SSA, SNAP and Section 8 benefits. Must be able to set limits and must be willing to adjust schedule to meet individuals' needs.
A BA/BS in Human Services or related field and 5 years of experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities and high Functioning ASD. A valid driver’s license and car are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
