What you will do:
The Cold Storage 1 position is responsible for keeping the warehouse area in a safe, sanitary, and efficient working order. This role is the last set of eyes to see TCCA product prior to it leaving to customers. The Cold Storage Operator is Responsible for inspecting all product and trailers' pallets before loading, ensuring that all steps to maintain an accurate inventory database are taken. This includes verifying the pallet blocks, properly staging, and shipping the load in the specialized database MS Dynamics D365.
Here’s a day in the life:
- Warehouse production includes hand scanning the staged loads into the D365 system and completing the shipping checklist's staging portion.
- Staging loads in staging area of the warehouse.
- Inspecting the trailer for general cleanliness before loading; load trucks.
- Shipping products in ERP system and completing the shipping portion of the shipping checklist.
- Inspecting and unloading arriving loads of supplies or products.
- Receiving products into D365 system.
- Good math and reading skills required.
- Must be able to work -20 to 85 degree temperatures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned as needed.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and with customers.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- The ability to maintain a forklift certification.
- Must be a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- 0-3 years of Food Production, manufacturing experience, or warehouse experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment testing
- Must have current forklift certification
