What you will do:
The Master Sanitation Lead overseed makeroom and all other process area cleaning and sanitation procedures.
Here’s a day in the life:
- Master Sanitation scheduled tasks.
- CIP Circuit & Titration verifications.
- COP cleaning.
- Sanitizer station verifications & maintenance.
- Foamer station maintenance.
- Doorway foamer maintenance.
- Valve maintenance (rebuilds).
- Train production employees for proper cleaning & sanitization techniques.
- Identify sanitation deficiencies.
- Identify leaks and schedule to make repairs.
- Monitor for excessive water or chemical usage.
- Assist in the continued development of SSOPs.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Food production or production/manufacturing environment desired.
- Lead Experience is a plus.
Physical requirements:
- Sitting
- Standing and/or walking
- Lifting 55 lbs.
- Vision for machine or computer operations
- Hearing
- Pre-work physical exam required
Working conditions:
Production: Space can be crowded with manufacturing equipment. Must remain aware of forklift traffic. Noisy; some areas can be dusty. May encounter extremes in temperature. Requires standing entire shift, walking on uneven, slippery surfaces, stooping, bending and crouching and climbing ladders. Duties may include repetitive motion of hands and lifting up to 55 pounds.
Laboratory: Shared work stations including testing equipment and computer terminals. Generally quiet, temperature controlled, well lit. May include walking on uneven, slippery surfaces and encountering forklift traffic. Requires standing majority of shift, working with chemicals, walking on uneven, slippery surfaces, stooping, Good Stewardship - Genuine Care - Play to Win - Uncompromising Quality - One Team bending and crouching and climbing ladders. Duties may include repetitive motion of hands and lifting up to 55 pounds.
Maintenance: Work is normally in plant environment. Can include working outside in all weather conditions, working in confined spaces and in poorly lighted areas, walking on uneven, slippery surfaces and encountering forklift traffic. Requires standing majority of shift, walking on uneven, slippery surfaces, stooping, bending and crouching and climbing ladders. Duties may include lifting up to 55 pounds and maneuvering heavy equipment and/or parts.
