What you will do:
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for keeping the warehouse and freezer areas in a safe, sanitary and efficient working order. As this role is the last set of eyes to see TCCA product prior to it leaving to customers the Warehouse Operator is responsible for inspecting all pallets of product and the trailers prior to loading ensuring that all steps to maintain an accurate database for the inventory is taken. This includes verifying the blocks on the pallet, properly staging, and shipping the load in the specialized database, D365.
Here’s a day in the life:
- Warehouse production including hand scanning the staged loads into the D365 system and completing the staging portion of shipping checklist.
- Staging loads in staging area of warehouse.
- Inspecting the trailer for general cleanliness prior to loading; load trucks.
- Shipping products in the D365 system and completing the shipping portion of the shipping checklist.
- Inspecting and unloading arriving loads of supplies or product. Receiving products into D365 system.
- Good math and reading skills are required.
- Must be able to work -20 to 90 degree temperatures.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and with customers.
- Must be a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company.
- Must be able to work various shifts (days, graveyard, and swing), weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Reliable attendance onsite.
- Must be capable of becoming proficient in forklift and pallet jack operations.
- Must be computer literate with beginner knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. SharePoint and an ERP system knowledge such as D365 is a plus.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- High School diploma or G.E.D is required.
- Warehouse experience and/or training is preferred.
- Previous inventory control experience is a plus.
- Good math and reading skills are required.
- Must be able to work various shifts (days, graveyard, and swing), weekends, and holidays.
