Kitchen Production Team Member

Tiller & Rye is currently seeking a new member to join our team! We are looking for a strong applicant as a kitchen attendant. Experience is preferred, but exceptions could be made for the right candidate. An ability to multitask and effective communication skills are a must. An interest in healthy eating is a plus. Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds. Early mornings, afternoons and weekends may be required.

Summary

As a Kitchen Associate, you will be an integral part of our team, utilizing your skills in food preparation, food service, experience to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen. Cooking and knife skills will be essential in creating delicious meals and maintaining high quality standards. Additionally, you be occasionally asked to prepare catering orders, or contribute to special events and large-scale food production. With strong communication skills and previous kitchen experience, you will collaborate effectively with the team to deliver exceptional food quality and service. Responsibilities

• Assist in food production and processing by preparing dishes based on set recipes.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety standards, including state regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Utilize knife skills and basic math for accurate portioning and packaging of food items.
• Prioritize quality and consistency in each recipe prepared.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Brewer, ME 04412: Relocate before starting work (Required)
