Job Summary
As a Territory Account Manager specializing in Oils & Lubricants, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within the Mid Atlantic area. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and effectively promoting our Oils and Lubricant products and services. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
Essential Functions / General Accountabilities
- Sales Strategy Development : Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth and expansion within the territory. Identify key target markets, industries, and accounts for penetration.
- Client Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and promote additional products or services. Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and support.
- New Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory through prospecting, networking, and cold calling. Utilize market research and industry knowledge to identify potential clients and market segments.
- Product Promotion : Educate clients on the features, benefits, and applications of our oils and lubricant products. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions as needed to showcase the value proposition.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting : Track sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts accurately using CRM tools. Provide regular updates and reports to management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, operations, and technical support to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients. Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Negotiation and Contract Management : Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. Prepare and review proposals, agreements, and other sales-related documents as necessary.
- Industry Knowledge and Compliance : Stay updated on industry regulations, safety standards, and market trends related to chemical distribution. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
