We are seeking a highly motivated Energy Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for qualifying, enrolling, and educating clients on available energy-saving programs through the Low-Income Weatherization Program (LIWP). The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, sales experience, and the ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and compliance with program regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete TillGreen Solutions’ in-house Energy Specialist training.
• Obtain a Home Improvement Salesperson Certification (HISC) and comply with California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB) regulations.
• Educate and enroll qualified homeowners and renters in the LIWP program.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, enrollments, and required documentation.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, including sales associates and call center representatives.
• Ensure compliance with program guidelines and company policies.
• Attend team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
• Represent TillGreen Solutions and its partners professionally in all client interactions.

Qualifications Required:

• Bilingual (Spanish & English)
• Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Internet Explorer (Encouraged)

Preferred:

• 1 years of sales experience (preferably canvassing or direct sales)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• HISC Badge/Certification

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and use of hands for data entry and documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
