We have an incredible opportunity for an OSP FTTX Construction Project Manager with a strong team.
Requirements And Responsibilities
- Work with PMO team to forecast construction go-live dates.
- Work with our construction vendor daily to keep track of the work they are doing in the field, where their crews are, which job they are working on, and the construction metrics they have completed each day.
- Update SiteTracker milestones daily. Sitetracker is our primary construction management tool and the source of truth for tracking metrics.
- Responsible for creating Notice to Proceed and Statements of Work to our vendors to issue them work.
- Track all damages, issues, materials, constraints, and customer feedback from work out in the field.
- Responsible for all OSP Construction projects, including the foundational trackers for each project, based on the project needs, and working with management, subcontractors, vendors, and clients on a regular basis.
- Must coordinate fielding activities and data collection.
- Must understand construction practices in accordance with NESC Guidelines
- Manage project execution including scope, schedule, cost, quality, communication, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal resources and external/third parties/vendors for the efficient and successful execution of projects.
- Manage stakeholder communications, including interaction with clients, contractors, vendors, and jurisdictional authorities.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
- Data management: track all milestones with accuracy and update regularly throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze the data input to create accurate internal and external reporting for all stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Report and escalate issues as needed and in a timely manner.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- A minimum of 3 years of Outside plant Aerial and Underground construction, project management experience.
- Aerial and Underground Fielding experience.
- Make ready costs and evaluation experience.
- Some Aerial and Underground permitting experience a plus.
- Associate degree or greater preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Sitetracker or other Salesforce platforms a plus.
- Experience with forecasting large scale projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of FTTH standards and best practices is a must for this role.
