Apprentice Plumber
Apprentice plumber takes direction from Master and Journeyman plumber to perform plumbing
tasks as detailed below.
Apprentice Plumber Duties & Responsibilities
- Assembling and installing PVC and CPVC
- Disassembling and removing damaged or worn pipe
Education, Licensing and certification
- Must have a valid DL & transportation
- Must have or be able to obtain OSHA 10 hour or 30 hour certification
- Learning to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications
- Plumbing license - Apprentice with a supervising master
- **MUST have minimum 2yrs verifiable work history
- Must have 2 years of commercial construction experience
Skills & Qualities
- Copper
- PVC
- Occupational hazards and safety requirements of the trade
- Tools and practices used in the trade
- Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs
