What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at Tilly Bagel Shop?
Hours: Full-time 7am-3pm
Monday-Friday
THIS JOB WILL TRAIN AT OUR BALBO LOCATION, THEN MOVE TO OUR FULTON MARKET LOCATION ONCE OPENED!
We are passionate about making fresh, delicious bagels that are perfect for breakfast, lunch, or any time of day. Our menu features a variety of bagels, sandwiches, spreads, and other pastries, all made with quality ingredients.
We are committed to providing excellent customer service and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements:
- 2 years previous experience in baking/pastry is preferred
- Responsible for making dough, rolling bagels, cleaning tables, greeting guests, dishes, cleaning
- Assist other stations when necessary (ie: cleaning tables, coffee drinks)
- Be able to work well under pressure, multitask, and have excellent communication skills
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to meet the demands of a busy bagel shop
- Follow recipes and food safety guidelines, and have experience with food preparation equipment such as slicers and mixers
- Have passion about food and have a strong work ethic
- Work independently and as part of a team, and be willing to learn new skills
- Stand for long periods of time and lift up to 75 pounds
- Have a positive attitude and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe Certified
