Position Overview:
The BCBA Supervisor will oversee mid-level supervisees, newer BCBAs, and RBTs. This role includes clinical supervision, case management, and parent training delivered via telehealth. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for mentoring, and the ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans, including creating necessary materials for parent training. This position also requires attending in-person client sessions within the local city.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision & Mentorship:
- Provide clinical supervision to mid-level supervisees, newer BCBAs, and RBTs.
- Review treatment plans, protocols, and data collection procedures.
- Offer ongoing feedback, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Support supervisees in meeting certification and professional growth goals.
2. Parent Training:
- Develop and implement individualized parent training programs via telehealth.
- Design treatment plans that include comprehensive materials, visual supports, and resources tailored to each family’s needs.
- Empower parents with strategies and tools to manage their child’s behavior effectively.
- Regularly review progress and update materials based on parent and client needs.
3. Case Management & Treatment Planning:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Create and update detailed treatment plans, including goals and materials necessary for parent training and client sessions.
- Ensure treatment plans are individualized, evidence-based, and aligned with best practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services.
4. In-Person Support:
- Attend in-person client sessions within your local city as needed.
- Conduct direct observations and assessments to inform treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and provide hands-on support to families.
5. Collaboration & Communication:
- Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Maintain open, professional communication with clients, families, and team members.
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
- Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a BCBA.
- Experience supervising mid-level and entry-level BCBAs and RBTs.
- Experience developing treatment plans and materials for parent training delivered through telehealth.
Skills:
