Overview :
SweetWater Brewing Company is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to join our team! You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our beer products.
Roles and Responsibilities (including but not limited to) :
- Keep "quality always" as an integral part of day-to-day operations at SweetWater Brewery
- Follow minimum sampling plan for daily sample collection for microbiological, physchem, packaging, and sensory analysis.
- Perform data entry and trend analysis using excel / SmartSheet software.
- Ability to follow SOPs to ensure all testing / analysis is completed accurately and consistently.
- Take part in the on-going development of our food safety programs as an active member or coordinator of the HACCP team.
- Effective auditing of processes including SOPs, CIPs, HACCP, GMPs, brewery sanitation audits, etc.
- Follow reaction plans for out-of-spec product.
Reporting of non-conformities to appropriate personnel in a timely matter
Use proper aseptic collecting techniques when processing microbiological samples using selective media and micro identification.
Assist in the management of propagation, harvesting, and health of the brewery's yeast strains.
ABV, ABW, SG, RDF, AE, calories via AP alcolyzer
TPO / CO2 via AP PFD / CBox
Set-up routine sensory panels including :
