SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Tilt Beauty is looking for a creative, passionate, and collaborative Social Media Manager to lead our brand's presence across various social media platforms. In this role, you will be instrumental in building brand awareness, crafting our narrative, and educating our audience about Tilt's product offerings. Keeping up-to-date on current social media trends, strategies, and cultural developments in beauty will be essential to your success in this position.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for owning the social media calendar, creating content, writing captions, and collaborating with agencies and external creators to produce engaging content. Your mission will be to strategically tell the brand and product stories in a social-first way and actively foster and engage the Tilt community.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
PLATFORM PLANNING & MANAGEMENT
Lead day-to-day channel management from ideation to execution, including mapping out all content calendars, creating social briefs, and scheduling and maintaining an organized social calendar across platforms
Track trends and utilize social listening to inform content strategies and optimize posts for maximum views and engagement
Constantly test new trends and platforms in areas relevant to our target market
Schedule and post all social content including weekends and holidays (as needed) to maintain social presence and foster community
Analyze, measure, and report on social media platforms, identifying and actioning opportunities for greater success
CONTENT CREATION & SOURCING
Develop innovative new ways for storytelling and driving Tilt’s point of difference via. posting formats, edits, graphics, etc.
Write and edit copy to consistently deliver an on-brand voice across all social platforms
Identify and contact potential content creators to partner with for both organic and paid social content
Work with freelance designers and agencies to brief social media assets
Work with founding team to create and edit in-house behind-the-scenes video at the office, events, and more
Responsible for real-time and in-person social support and community engagement during brand events — including, but not limited to pop-ups, influencer events, etc.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Expand community with daily listening, community conversation, monitoring inbound comments and DMs, and engaging with tagged content across all social channels
Lead ongoing initiatives to gather community feedback on new product development and existing product input, utilizing polls, IG stories, and other emerging features / trends
Collaborate with the the the team, sharing key questions and inquiries from our community to provide feedback and share to leadership as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 4 years of social media content creation experience
Must be based in Los Angeles with ability to be in our West Hollywood office 2-3 days per week
Passion for skincare, beauty and building community
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest
Must be an incredible communicator, who is comfortable being proactive and problem solving
Must be comfortable filming and editing content
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to innovate and drive initiatives
Flexible, organized, and strong experience in managing timelines and deliverables with efficiency
