Position : Manufacturing Support Tech
Work Location : Newburyport, MA, 01950
Pay : $26 / hr on W2 10% Shift Differential
Duration : 3 Months
Shift : 2nd Shift 3pm 11pm M-F
Job Description :
Responsible for the setup, calibration, maintenance, and operation of microelectronic equipment and process for wafer, die, and package processing. Implement recommended enhancements to product and process flow. Follow prescribed procedures to troubleshoot process and equipment related issues.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Setup, maintain, and operate microelectronic assembly equipment
- Apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
- Works with engineers and team to improve process to meet yield and cycle time requirements
- Collects and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to product, instruments, or equipment
- Works with engineers to conduct experiments and perform rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.

Position involves working in multiple production areas including areas where chemical and analytic equipment are being used.
Sensory Requirements
Involves close work, visual monotony and clarity within a microscope and color / vision perception. Must be able to discriminate between high quality standard parts and parts with marginal quality. Production environments involves specific gowning and safety equipment requirements, high levels of background noise and work areas where hot / cold and multiple materials / chemistries are being used. Must be able to hear and communicate both in person and over phone in areas with increased background noise.
Physical Requirements
Medium levels of physical work at times needing to exert force or push items of up to 100 lbs. and lifting of up to 40 lbs. Position involves frequent walking through manufacturing areas and involves gowning for the specific work area. Must be able to stand for extended period of times on hard surfaces. Position does involve need to twist and bend as part of the daily work. Must be able to push / pull / manipulate and grasp work with both hands and reaching both above and below shoulder height. Good hand eye coordination and ability to manipulate small tools and parts is required. Position involves use of keyboard and interaction with multiple computer systems and production equipment interfaces. Job requires frequent endurance with typical spans of >
