Responsibilities
- Manage procurement processes for automotive parts, ensuring timely availability and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking inventory levels and orders.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving of parts, maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
- Perform data entry tasks related to inventory management and supplier communications.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality service.
- Oversee supplier management, building strong relationships to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Operate forklifts safely for the movement of parts within the warehouse as needed.
- Assist in automotive service operations by providing necessary parts to technicians promptly.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement management principles and practices.
- Experience with supply chain management and logistics.
- Proficiency in data entry with high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes in an automotive context.
