Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in various math subjects, including trigonometry, geometry, and calculus.
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet individual student needs.
- Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance the tutoring experience.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Foster a positive learning environment and manage classroom dynamics effectively.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring and teaching mathematics at various levels
- Strong understanding of core math concepts including trigonometry, geometry, and calculus
- Ability to develop and implement effective curriculum and learning strategies
- Proficient in using learning technology and computer skills to enhance instruction
- Experience managing classrooms and working with diverse groups of students, including children and adults
- Knowledge of physiology and childcare principles is a plus
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Internship
Pay: From $29.47 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 10 per week
