Job Overview:
Tim Short Chevrolet of Hazard is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Title Clerk. As a Title Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and managing motor vehicle titles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, conducting research, and utilizing your knowledge of motor vehicle laws.
Duties:
- Process and manage motor vehicle titles, including reviewing documents, verifying information, and ensuring accuracy
- Conduct research to gather necessary information for title processing
- Communicate with customers, lenders, and other parties involved in the title process to provide updates and address any inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with lenders, and other professionals to resolve any title-related issues
- Maintain organized records of all title-related documents and transactions
- Assist with other office work when needed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of title processing procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Proficient in conducting research and gathering relevant information
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
