Job Description
Timber Creek Recycling is seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Heavy Equipment Operator III to join our growing team. This advanced role is designed for professionals with significant experience operating and maintaining complex heavy machinery, including crushers, grinders, and other specialized equipment used in recycling or industrial environments. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting, demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, and consistently prioritize safety, quality, and efficiency. Occasional travel outside the Treasure Valley for extended periods may be required.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such loaders, crushers, grinders, and de-packager efficiently for the processing, transfer, and storage of materials.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functionality, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor production operations to ensure deadlines are met while adhering to safety and quality requirements outlined in Timber Creek Recyclings Operations Plan.
- Perform regular equipment inspections and document findings in compliance with company standards.
- Continuously maintain and organize the work area, adhering to good manufacturing practices.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues promptly to the supervisor or Production Manager.
- Assist in training and mentoring less experienced operators on proper techniques, safety protocols, and efficient workflows.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and resolve operational challenges effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support site operations.
