What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef position at Timber Lake Camp?
Assistant Head Chef
Timber Lake Camp sits on a mountaintop surrounded by 500 acres in New York’s Catskill Mountains, just 2.5 hours from New York City. A traditional, co-ed camp, we feature two private, spring-fed lakes and an outstanding array of facilities on magnificently manicured grounds.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with Head Chef and team to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for 700 people, 6 days per week.
- Serve family style with multiple substitute bars, both hot and cold.
- Knowledge of food allergies encouraged.
- Room and board included.
- Working 6 days per week
- Start date is June 15th and end date is August 17th.
- Salary competitive
- Ideal candidate will have experience working in an professional kitchen, or currently in Culinary School.
Contract Length:
- 2 months or less
- 3 - 4 months
