What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Timber Lane Allergy & Asthma Associates?
Timber Lane Allergy & Asthma Associates, P.C. is seeking a reliable, detail oriented associate to join our Business Office team.
This position requires:
- Checking in patients
- Verifying insurance and demographic information
- Scanning
- Answering phone calls, taking messages, and transferring calls
- Receiving payments from patients
- Other administrative duties as assigned
The right candidate will understand the laws regarding HIPAA and be able to handle confidential materials appropriately.
Medical office or administrative experience preferred.
Hours: 2 days per week, 7:30am-4:30pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Potential for position to go full-time, but not guaranteed. If candidate is available to work an extra day or two per week as needed to help cover when other staff is on vacation/out sick , that would be ideal, but not required.
CTO plus paid holidays.
