POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for professionally representing the products and services that Timber Products Company provides and is involved in all phases of the sales and marketing process.
This is a remote working sales position. Southeast location is highly preferred. Applicants residing in other locations may be considered.

- Learns and successfully implements a sales process including establishing customer relationships, qualifying prospects, and assisting in closing sales.
- Upkeeps accounts by submitting daily input into a CRM system including activities, opportunities, sales pipelines and account portfolio information.
- Enters orders efficiently and accurately into the company ERP system.
- Ensures that quotes, proposals and presentations are completed in a professional manner.
- Fulfills all commitments or revises commitments when circumstances change significantly and previous timelines cannot be met.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information.
- Resolves customer concerns & complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
- Displays strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment and produce results in conjunction with fellow team members.
- Ability to maintain poise and professionalism under stressful or challenging situations.
- Takes initiative to achieve goals.
- Initiates, establishes and maintains positive working relationships with co-workers, customers, and suppliers.
- Works as a team member to achieve the plywood sales plan. Actively participates in growing strategic accounts to increase plywood sales.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
This job typically requires a minimum of 5 years sales experience in a related field. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree. Must be proficient in the use of computers and a variety of software programs.
Excellent communication and listening skills are required in order to work effectively with all levels of sales staff, and customers. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment and produce results in conjunction with fellow team members.
