POSITION SUMMARY :
Performs walk-through inspections of the entire mill, checking and reporting any malfunctions; repairs / troubleshoot when needed.
MAJOR TASKS :
- Perform walk - through inspections of the entire mill, check for any malfunctions, report, or repair / troubleshoot, when needed.
- Communicate with lead millwright, production line supervisor, equipment operators, electricians, and any other maintenance personnel, as is required by specific tasks.
- Consider hazards and safe work actions before performing assignments.
- Minimum 2 years millwright experience preferably in wood products or manufacturing setting.
- Be able to work shift work and weekends.
- Pass pre-employment drug test and background check
