Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rubber Tire Feller Buncher Operator to join our production crew. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating a rubber tire feller buncher, particularly in cutting large hardwoods. This position requires a strong understanding of safe and efficient logging practices, and the ability to work effectively within a production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate rubber tire feller buncher to cut and bunch trees efficiently.
- Cut large hardwoods with precision and attention to safety.
- Work with chainsaws for trees the machine will not cut or trimming as needed.
- Maintain equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards at all times.
- Coordinate with the production crew to meet daily cutting goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Rubber Tire Feller Buncher Operator.
- Extensive experience cutting large hardwoods.
- Proficiency in chainsaw use and maintenance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and equipment care.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working on production logging crews.
- Knowledge of forestry management practices.
- Experience with other logging machinery is a plus.
Compensation:
