We are looking for a Front of the House Manager to help oversee service and bar staff, budgets and operations of the local business. We are locally grown and owned restaraunt company. FOH Manager responsibilities include guest relations, managing people, enforcing policies and growing the business. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, you’ll help our company grow and thrive. Hours would run around 50 per week.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Maintain and optimize expenses
- Train staff for success
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Direct the employee assessment process
- Prepare regular reports for upper management
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Skills
- Proven experience as a Manager or similar executive role
- Experience in planning and budgeting
- Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- BSc/BA in Business or relevant field is a plus but not required
- Proven experience in staff training, management, and food service
- Strong leadership skills with a background in kitchen and hospitality management
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Certification in Food Safety and Sanitation
- Experience with POS systems and inventory control
- Previous experience in fine dining and fast-food restaurant settings

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
