We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Manager to oversee our operations and ensure the highest quality of craftsmanship in our projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cutting and assembling cabinets, along with the ability to communicate effectively, be organized, and self-motivated. This role requires a hands-on approach, as you will be responsible for managing daily shop activities, coordinating projects, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the shop, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
- Oversee project planning and execution.
- Ensure all work is completed to specifications by reading blueprints accurately.
- Assemble cabinets and installation of various components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Foster a positive attitude that encourages collaboration and continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in cabinet building and installation.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and project estimation are essential.
- Hands-on experience with building cabinet, trim carpentry, painting cabinets is a plus.
- Experience operating a CNC machine and using a tablet is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients alike.
