Information Security Analyst
Department/Location: Administration / TBD
Employee Reports to: Compliance Officer
FLSA: Hourly; Non-Exempt position
Status: Full-Time 80 Hours
Rate of Pay: Grade 24 / $33.50 - $42.00 per hour
Summary/Objective: The Information Security Analyst assists management in administering the day-to-day operations of the Bank’s Information and Cybersecurity program.
Essential Job Functions:
- Conducts regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Responds to, investigates, and documents data security incidents and breaches
- Collaborates with management on policy and procedure updates
- Reviews and recommends updates to IT-related risk assessments
- Manages, updates, and tests business continuity plan and department processes
- Participates in internal and external technology audits
- Maintains database of current vulnerabilities and threat landscape
- Updates and tests Incident Response Policy
- Assists administration with vendor management operations
- Successfully completes all assigned training, including required annual compliance training, in a timely manner.
- Follows all bank policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of information technology operations experience or equivalent post-secondary education
- Working knowledge of bank products and services
- Ability to work well independently or with a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and protocols.
- Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of threat intelligence, malware analysis, and current cyber threats specific to the financial sector.
- Understanding of data privacy laws and secure data handling practices.
- Familiarity with core banking systems and digital payment technologies.
