Job Responsibilities:

• Adhere to and actively promote all safety protocols and procedures, reporting all accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate potential hazards.
• Excavate by hand ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to meet grade specifications.
• Operate tools such as picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes.
• Position, join, align, or seal structural components like concrete wall sections or pipes.
• Loading, unloading, or identifying building materials, machinery, or tools while distributing them according to project plans or specifications.
• Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, etc.
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of proper tool and equipment usage.
• Organize and maintain tool trailers in a neat and orderly fashion.

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in Heavy/Civil construction preferred.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be willing and available to travel.
• Must be willing to lift, pull, bend, push, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
