Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various tasks related to electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs, contributing to both residential and commercial projects.
Duties
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters safely and effectively.
- Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing solutions.
- Help with low voltage wiring installations for various applications.
- Participate in frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times while on job sites.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems or prior experience in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Strong willingness to learn from experienced professionals in the field.
- Good physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting or standing for extended periods.
- A commitment to safety practices and protocols on job sites.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Pay: $17.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
