What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cricket Production - Caretakers position at Timberline Fisheries Corp?
New employees will be instructed on the proper procedures:
- Proper setup and placement of grow boxes into growing rooms
- Preparation of water pans to be set on the boxes
- Proper placement of feed trays and water pans in growing box
- Proper mix of laying media
- Proper placement of egg pans into brooder boxes
- Proper removal and preparation of egg pans going into incubation rooms
- Proper date coding of pans in incubation room
Cricket Production is working in the grow rooms feeding, watering, setting up grow rooms and cleaning. The grow rooms temperatures range from 88 - 94 degrees all year around.
Timberline is the Worlds Largest Insect Farm here in Marion. We grow crickets and worms for packaging and shipping out to zoo's, pet stores and online businesses. It is a family own farm since 1972.
Schedules:
Schedules are all fixed day shifts with the same 2 consecutive days of in a row.
Shifts start at 6am each day.
Need to work weekends.
Pay is $17.00 an hour
