Description
As a Timberline Shuttle Driver, you are part of a team that is responsible for the safety and enjoyment of our shuttle guests between Government Camp and Timberline Lodge. Your responsibilities will be to assist guests in loading and unloading onto a passenger shuttle bus, safely drive shuttle in all kinds of inclement weather, have the know-how and understand driving on snow covered roads with chains, maintain your CDL license, problem solve, use sound judgement, constant situational awareness, and hold to a pleasant and approachable demeanor with the guests and fellow employees.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Maintain safe speeds up and down the mountain while keeping the shuttle service on schedule
- Assist guests with loading and unloading of vehicle
- Perform inspections of vehicle before and after every trip
- Install safety chains when required
- Maintain all necessary DOT driver's logs
- Removal of snow and ice before vehicle is put into service
- Clean inside and outside of vehicle after every shift
- Check and replenish fluids and fuels required to operate vehicle(s).
- Report for Drug & Alcohol Screenings as regulated by Oregon DOT
