Charge Nurse LPN or RN

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Charge Nurse will play a pivotal role in overseeing patient care, coordinating nursing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical services. This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to providing compassionate care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
• Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers while maintaining accurate medical records.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform tube feeding and assist with other specialized care needs.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license in good standing.
• Experience in senior care, emergency room (ER), or medical office settings preferred.
• Proficiency in performing procedures such as phlebotomy, dialysis, and ICD-9 coding is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
• Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed.
• Background in ophthalmology or related fields is beneficial but not required.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Pay: $36.00 - $50.00 per hour
