We are looking for a team of kennel attendants that want to help build an amazing workplace.
The TVES kennel assistants is critical in making sure the hospital is safe, clean, and comfortable for clients and patients. This includes cage cleaning, laundry, stocking, grounds pick up, and general hospital cleaning. In addition, kennel assistants may be asked to help restrain and walk patients and assist with basic procedures. The kennel assistant position is an entry level position that can lead to training and other roles within the hospital.
Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, enjoy being busy, be a team player, and want to learn. Previous animal handling experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule, Compensation, and Benefits:
- We are hiring for all shifts, including overnights. As an emergency hospital, rotation to help fairly cover holidays is expected for all staff.
- Hourly compensation is based on experience and skills (hourly range $19-22/hour).
- We also provide competitive benefits, as well as quarterly profit sharing, and participation in our stock appreciation rights plan for full time employees, and participation in our future ESOP.
- Shift differentials will apply for overnight and weekend shifts and be in addition to hourly rates.
