Description
Supervision and maintenance of professional level of Mt Hood Brewing Company employees. Maintain sanitary environment as described by the Health Department. Ensure Mt Hood Brewing Company employees keep work stations clean and recyclable materials are placed in appropriate bins. Ensure staff are properly trained on a continual basis.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensure staff members consistently provide quality service.
- Ensure company grooming, uniform, operating guidelines and other procedures are followed by on duty staff members.
- Promote good employee relations.
- Give timely input on scheduling, changes to operating procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed, according to company and Mt Hood Brewing Company policy. Ensure daily reports IDT sheets, spoilage sheets and invoices are properly filled out and routed.
- Maintain prep and par stock at adequate levels in accordance with projected business levels.
- Routinely monitor security of premises including checking perimeter doors and windows with general observation of employees, customers and the facilities.
- Clean and organize storage areas, loading dock, walk-in, coolers, freezers and bottle sorting area as needed.
- Assist with cleaning and oversee work habits to ensure sanitation of Mt Hood Brewing Company areas. Maintain sanitation quality to meet Health Department standards.
- Alert Manager of maintenance concerns. In his/her absence, immediately report critical problems to Management.
- Be aware of cost of doing business; recognize how actions and decisions influence profitability.
- Handle reported incidents of employee on the job injury or illness according to company guidelines and procedure.
- Fulfill duties of Bartender and Server as needed.
- Exercise sound judgment and awareness regarding language, behavior, and dress and grooming.
- Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace.
- Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
- Present a professional, quality image at all times.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be service-oriented.
- Must have a minimum of 6 months of previous supervisory experience.
- Must be detail-oriented with ability to set and meet high customer service standards.
- Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests.
- Must have detailed knowledge of all menu offerings.
- Must be proficient in up-selling of products and services.
- Must know and follow all proper service and reservation procedures.
- Must have valid OLCC and Oregon Food Handlers permit.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling.
- Must be able to work in tight space with balance and poise.
- Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
- Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.
