Description
Provide Customer Service by assisting guests with fuel, and all retail duties. Collect payment for services and supplies.
Essential Functions
- Perform all aspects of a Chevron fueling associate. Minimum requirement is to be at guests vehicles before their vehicle is turned off
- Wash windshields and check fluid levels and air pressure if requested
- Charge purchases through cash, debit or credit cards and ensure that the transaction finalizes, including giving guest receipt.
- Sales of all store items
- Stocking of all areas of store, including coolers and storage rooms throughout shift
- Price and shelve incoming goods
- Prepare day by day reports of fuel, oil and other sales
- Sanitize parking areas, office, restrooms and tools and remove garbage
- Consistent completion of all cleaning and sanitation tasks to Health Department standards and as assigned, can room, cleaning counters and cases, cleaning of food preparation equipment
- Follow all directions of each days Shift Supervisor
- If assigned shift supervisor duties, responsible for ensuring all tasks assigned by management are completed
- Abide by Chevron and Timberline grooming rules
- Present a professional, quality image at all times
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Requirements
- Must have a positive service oriented personality.
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to set and meet high customer service standards.
- Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests.
- Must be proficient in up-selling products and services.
- Must know and follow all proper service procedures.
- Must complete and pass food handlers program, OLCC training, propane procedural training and any other agency regulated training
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling.
- Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
- Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.
