Job Summary
Entry-level position to perform general lumber mill responsibilities including stacking lumber, driving a forklift, moving inventory, and verifying inventory counts.
Principle/Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Operate machine or basic equipment
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures & regulations such as Lockout Tagout.
- Perform basic and routine maintenance.
Other duties as assigned
Minimal Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Prior experience in a mill and/or wood production work environment preferred, but not mandatory
- May include climbing, pushing, kneeling and lifting heavy items
- Must be able to lift dimensional lumber to 50 lbs.
- Prior experience in operating a forklift is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary : $17 - $18
