This role involves ensuring that the resort remains visually appealing and operates efficiently while adhering to energy conservation and safety standards. You'll supervise the engineering team, manage maintenance and repair projects, and collaborate with other departments to deliver a first-class guest experience. Ideal candidates have 5-7 years of experience in facility management, strong leadership skills, knowledge of building codes, and experience in mechanical systems.

Job Duties & Functions
- Conduct walk-throughs and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the
equipment.
- Verify completion of all routine maintenance on public spaces, meeting rooms, ballrooms, outlets,
park, pool complexes, fitness center, spa and commercial spaces. Verify completion of all repairs,
replacement, and renovation projects to offices and employee work areas.
- Assist in hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining department staff and all other staff under
- Adhere to all corporate-required purchasing policies and controls, including, but not limited to, all
and equipment by the company and OSHA.
- Maintain effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs and conduct special
hotel.
- Inform the General Manager and hotel department heads on a regular basis regarding the specific

- Review and understand all agreements and ensure all HOA/CDD billings are accurate.

- Actively train in fire prevention, environmental health and safety, and engineering systems. Attend
- Oversee daily and weekly payrolls. Prepare departmental manpower schedules.
- Oversee water treatment programs.
- Attend morning walk around as required.
- Professionally represent the resort in community and industry organizations and events.
- Participate as a team player with all departments.
- Provide constructive feedback to all departments.
- Be a leader and a role model to all employees.
- High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor’s Degree or related technical school degree
- Five to seven years in a major hotel, hospital, or building, including four years in a supervisory
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits. Must
