Summary

- Prepares, preps, cooks, and portions meals.
- Assist in the creation of daily lunch and dinner specials.
- Price menu items and specials in collaboration with the Food & Beverage Manager.
- Provide inventory updates for food orders to the Manager.
- Store food products in compliance with DHEC Standards.
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area and wash cookware.
- Clean, organize and maintain dry storage.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage Manager to control cost of goods, variances, and inventories within the beach club; make suggestions for menu adjustments or additions.
- Performs/assists in daily opening and closing responsibilities including but not limited to trash removal, organization and sanitation of refrigeration units, and sanitation of equipment and surfaces and cookware.
- Assists in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with Owners and Guests to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business.
- Assists in ensuring that staff maintains a professional attitude and proper appearance and uniform standards.
- Performs annual deep cleans as well as daily/weekly assigned tasks.
- Demonstrates courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with the Owners and Guests and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with Owners and coworkers
- Possess the ethics and positive attitude that support the Timbers values and culture.
