Timbers Company is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Revenue Management to optimize revenue performance across its distinguished portfolio of luxury properties, with a focus on Casali di Casole, The Sebastian - Vail, The Residence Club at St. Regis New York, and Timbers Kauai. This role will oversee revenue management strategies, enhance distribution channels, streamline processes, and integrate AI-driven technologies to maximize property revenue and EBITDA. The Director of Revenue Management will collaborate closely with hospitality sales, marketing, operations, property teams, and asset management while leading and developing revenue managers and the reservations team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Revenue Optimization: Develop and implement data-driven revenue management strategies to maximize RevPAR, ADR, and overall revenue performance across Timbers’ luxury properties.
- Distribution Management: Optimize distribution channels to enhance profitability, ensuring effective rate parity, inventory control, and partnership management.
- EBITDA Growth: Drive initiatives to increase EBITDA through strategic pricing, demand forecasting, and yield management.
- Technology & AI Integration: Leverage technology and introduce AI-driven solutions to enhance revenue management efficiency and decision-making.
- Process & System Enhancement: Streamline systems and processes to improve operational effectiveness and cross-functional collaboration.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing team of revenue managers and the reservations team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with hospitality sales and marketing, operations teams, and asset management to align revenue strategies with business objectives.
- Reservations Management: Oversee the reservations function to ensure high efficiency and service excellence.
- Channel Partnerships: Strengthen relationships with third-party distribution and technology partners to enhance market reach and revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and operations to align pricing strategies with financial forecasts, demand trends, and business objectives.
- Develop and manage accurate demand forecasts, reporting on key revenue performance metrics (RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, etc.) to senior leadership and providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen by understanding key performance indicators (KPI’s) and how they impact profitability, ensuring revenue optimization strategies align with overall financial goals.
- Utilize advanced data analytics tools to assess historical data, forecast trends, and provide strategic recommendations for optimizing room inventory, pricing, and overall revenue management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in revenue management within the luxury hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in optimizing RevPAR, managing distribution channels, and improving property financial performance.
- Expertise in revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), and AI-driven analytics tools.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of global luxury travel markets and competitive positioning.
